Jan 26, 2011 · I thought you were talking about chucking up a piece of stock in the mill spindle, a turning tool in a vise, setting feed on the spindle, and turning like a lathe. I have done that on both manual and CNC. On CNC mills I have been able to come up with some pretty intricate shapes doing this type of turning.
